You should NEVER try to balance one part of the cost against
another part. The TOTAL is the only figure that counts.
Here is an example: Would you pay $25 to repair something that
cost you $5?
I did on one occasion and finished up with an item that was as
good as brand new, which would have cost me about $400 to buy.
I would never have considered buying it at that price, but it has
given me a lot more "worth" than the $30 it cost me.

If you can get the goods locally and at the right price, go for
