Step ahead there... running 8.04 on a PIII 866. So far I've got Pigin,
AIM and Jpolit set up. Flash is a bit slow to start but works in
Firefox.
If I could somehow get Itunes running, that would be huge, I've read of
something called Banshee that claims to do ACC.
Need to figure out Wine (love Doom) and Gimp totally confuses me.
Need to find a way to do telnet, QWK and Pkzip. Need a Wysiwyg HTML and
CSS editor and get a grab on a good video player. Currently use VLC on
my windows box.

Preaching to the faithful... went there a couple of years back and put
it on both my son's and ex's computers as well. That said here's to hope
Wordperfect comes back to Linux, loved Quattro Pro.
That's the rub that I've seen in Linux to date, the big software names
haven't put a lot of effort into the OS.
