In the Battlse scene vs. the Bird of Prey, the Klingon ship is
whomping on the E-D.
In the Engineering section, the computer announces that the Warp
Core is now unstable or about to breach or that the situation is now
quite bad.
Geordi opens a panel and yanks on a handle. The panel throws
steam back at him.
Geordi calls the bridge and says "We're going to have a Warp
Core breach and there's nothing I can do about it!"
Isn't the handle upon which Geordi yanks the warp core ejection
system? Doesn't the fact that it throws steam rather than ejecting the
warp core mean that it's broken?
Perhaps I'm wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.
