Why not reverse it, and put a reserved IP for the Mac or client in each
DHCP server, and leave them on DHCP, using the Reservations section?
Assign them in an area that's blocked off from being dynamically assigned.
That way, in each office, when they connect, the local DHCP server will
hand them the same and proper stuff?
We've got sections of our DHCP servers "roped off" to not be
dynamically assigned, but have specific users set there.
