subject: Geoworks Programs

Greetings from Pensey's Point, Linda!
Chris Sallek put fingers to keyboard and spelled out some words about
Geoworks Programs to Linda Proulx on 27-Jun-96.
LP>> I gather that some of these programs are available by
LP>> snail mail but this is not a viable option for me &
LP>> probably for others in the neighborhood as well.
 CS> You can't mail 3 1.44mB floppies and a SASE for same to a
CS> "hub" once a month, where they will be filled with Geoworks
CS> newsletters, fonts, clipart, programs, etc. and returned to
CS> you, generally in about a week? Just checking to make sure
CS> that you understand how GeoworksSnailMailNetwork operates.
CS> Hopefully Lynn will post the info message about GSMN again
CS> soon. (Wink, wink; nudge, nudge Lynn.)
In Australia contact Len Ripper, C/- Geiga, PO Box 415, North Hobart,
Tas 7002. In New Zealand, contact Jack Burrows, 2-1 West Lynn Road, New
Lynn 1007. There are now hubs in most states of Australia, so postage
each month is about $1.90 and most members recycled their DP size
Postpaks, making the cost about $2.50 per month ($2US). Seems like
reasonable value to me.
Regards
Pensey
