We had already won our freedom and were a recognized nation whie Russians were
still bowing and scraping before their tzar. And communism wasn't even a glint
in Lenin's eye yet. In fact Lenin hadn't even been born.

The `USSR' brought itself to its' own destruction by its very idiology and
economic policies.


All Reagan had to do was start an arms race against the `USSR' and it
collapsed on its own. One push of Reagan's finger and the whole house
of cards that was the `USSR' fell down!


The `USSR' wasn't any sort of positive force in the 20th century; it was one
of the 20th century's problems! And a big one.
