| subject: | DriveWire 4 for the Color Computer |
I'm typing this message on my Color Computer 3 running NitrOS9 with the DriveWire 4 software. Drivewire allows me not only to emulate a disk drive to boot NitrOS9 off the serial port. but it also provides multiple virtual incoming terminal connections to OS9, an outgoing virtual modem and a telnet command. there's also support for a coco http server and you can even mount disk images over the web from inside the coco. This is the software I always wanted to have on my coco now I can do all sorts of evil things with it finally instead of watch it collect dust. I might even start up a board sometime down the road. you cna find out more about drivewire 4 at http://sites.google.com/site/drivewire4/ --- SBBSecho 2.12-Win32* Origin: :::The Holodeck BBS::: Telnet://holo.homeip.net (1:261/1381) SEEN-BY: 10/1 11/200 331 14/400 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 187 222/2 236/150 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/1 306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 320/119 393/68 396/45 633/104 260 267 285 690/734 712/848 SEEN-BY: 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 105 109 200 5030/1256 @PATH: 261/1381 38 633/260 267 |
