Butting in here, got taught long ago that mind altering drugs should all
be prescribed by someone who has the knowledge and experience to do so.
This is not the average family practioner who sees all sorts of
problems.

Much of it should not be given at all.  It is one of the most abused
drugs we have in this nation and it is legal for any licensed M.D. to
prescribe it.
If anything is said, the full weight of the pharmaceutical lobby comes
down hard.
God forbid we should endanger corporate profit in this nation.
