subject: Vic-20 modem connectivity

I have 2 Vic-20 computers just sitting and collecting dust. I have had an urge
for quite some time to connect one, or more of them to the internet via
vicmodem support, or at the very least dial into a bbs. I understand the
basics of how this could be accomplished with a windows box tethered to it, but
would rather to do it independent of any other 'lifeline' computer. Does
anyone have any information regarding what terminal software would be best for
this? as well, does anyone have a vicmodem that they no longer need and would
be willing to sell? :)
