I'm not sure that it would. How could they show that the person who
clicked okay on it was the person that owned the original contract . Or
even that that person was legally competent to enter into the new
agreement.
Not giving additional updates would be one thing, turning off the PC would
be a different ball game imho. Personally I'd say MS would be shooting
itself in the head if they did.
I don't see any company (or government) allowing that much control to an
outside vendor unless ALL the details are spelled out in the initial
contract.
