I've only used three

Knoppix - no problems
Mandriva ( free version)- which had some issues on the PC I was using when
I upgraded the Mandriva . One problem was directly caused by the name
change. I reinstalled with a current version and had serious video problems
( may not occur in the purchased version). They were probably correctable
but my knowledge of Linux is not at that level yet. Open SUSE - which I
loaded with no problems on the same PC. So far some minor problems but
nothing major.
