JB{at}> I've been trying to go short distances without my stick, lately. Now
JB{at}> and again, I find myself harrumphing as I pick something up off the
JB{at}> ground, and I realize other patrons don't have that visual cue. It *is*
JB{at}> natural, that someone without exposure to limitations and the
JB{at}> compensations to deal with them, might find me odd.

Oh... Cold, and something to hold onto are tender topics 'round here! I'm
breaking in a new(er) pair of frost-pack boots, (They are the big fluffy,
usually white canvas boots with real sticky rubber soles.) and I find I can't
just slip in and out of these particular ones. I have an errant firing-nerve on
my hip, so by the time I yank them on and lace them up, I have a full head of
sweat developing. That can be deadly - literally - in the temperatures we've
been experiencing this past week.
Now, to suit up and clear even *more* snow from the walks... I just wonder how
many of my neighbours even OWN shovels.
