YEah dog hair does that, gets everywhere.  I think I've
heard that one too, can't remember who did it, but a friend
played it for me once.  RAther interesting.

I usually don't even try, I just mouth the words, and am gld it's jst a
short stanza.  Poor Kathy would need more than a
bucket to carry a tune though, a tank truck maybe.

A few years ago I attended a concert, high school choir,
junior high band and some solo vocalists.  My daughter was
singing with the high school chorus.  JH band started to
play and I left, nobody must have gone anywhere near a
concert b-flat standard before taking the stage.  Next day I confronted jh
band director and asked him why he'd allow
those kids to embarrass themselves in that way.
I told him he should be ashamed of himself.

Reminds me of a story, my own jh band days.  GUy sitting
next to me in the trumpet section used to reach out an nudge me with his
foot when conductor cut of a formatta (spelling) and we performed concerts
in the jh gymnasium, audience in
the bleachers.

Band director's wife was on an upper tier and didn't relate
the cut off signals with my neighbor nudging me with his
left foot.  sO she reports my neighbor "harassing" me during the
concert.  Band director shouldn't have been teaching
kids anyway, he was a true musician's musician type.

NExt day my neighbor goes in for his trumpet lesson and
teacher unloads on him.  BD is a big loud guy and does the
red faced rage bit quite well.  sO, my friend returns to
science class after his lesson begging me to go explain our
signaling system to band director at lunch so that he
doesn't have  to try to ditch band class later that
afternoon.

Band director hears my explanation and apologizes to the
fellow, in front of the entire band.
