The topic is open for discussion until further notice. Some good comments
are coming out and I don't want to discourage them.
As far as quoting is concerned, it is not one of my pet peeves. We can
tolerate a lot of things.......like quoting, tag lines, digital signatures,
etc, before we can tolerate hostility, flames, and ill-will.
The bad vibes are about gone and in appreciation of that, I have not been
much of a stickler for the small stuff.
IMHO, excessive quoting isn't a virtue, but bandwidth and the cost of it just
are not hot items these days. The cost is not exhorbitant anymore. In favor
of clear and accurate communciations, we will not rag on the small stuff to
speak of. Anything out of hand is unacceptable, but I like the limits of
reason this echo has been following of late.
