Interesting thought ... or, perhaps, a log of accesses to the file.  Once
the log data is there (and I presume it gets copied when the file is
copied) you'd have a nice historical archive of file info that wouldn't get
in the way of the file usage but would be available to those with analysis
'tools' to extract and review the content.
