I know almost nothing about Linux, but I haven't seen anyone here mention
that CentOS is a free alternative to RedHat. It makes me feel a little
unclean to promote it (they simply re-badge RHEL), but whereas Fedora is
(I'm told) very similar to RHEL, CentOS is (I'm told) identical.
