I recently aquired an old AIWA AR-158 multi-band portable radio. It's in 
semi-decent condition and seems to work well. Well, okay, by today's 
standards, performance sucks, but I like the radio 'cause it has
"character." It has 6-bands which are selected by push-buttons on the top of 
the radio marked AM MB SW FM VHF1 VHF2, and the tuning dial is a vertical 
multi-colored slide-rule with the bands labeled, SPORTS, MARINE, HAM, MUSIC, 
AIR, and POLICE. What I'd like to know is, can anyone tell me about when this 
radio was produced, and about how much it originally sold for? (I paid $4 for 
it at GOODWILL.) Any information about this radio will be
appreciated.
