Line of Borland C++ products no longer exists.
Now Borland developed Borland C++Builder - nice RAD (Rapid Application
Development) tool. It looks and works strictly like Borland Delphi.
Certainly, it is capable to compile all your previous products without
changes, but for real use of all its opportunities your applications should
be rewritten. The fact is, that by native library for it is VCL (Visual
Components Library) - same, as in Delphi.
The basic concepts are components, such as the Form, Module of Data,
Application, Line of Editing, Report and other. You can create the own
components, and also to use ActiveX.
To language additions, allowing to define properties and to manipulate by
them, are brought in, is extended RTTI.
The system in basic is oriented to creation of products on Client/Server
technology (with use BDE). Components for work with Internet are available.
In general and whole, Borland C ++ Builder on opportunities is similar
Borland Delphi 2.01.
Now in an almost ready condition there is Borland C ++ Builder 3.0. On
opportunities it coincides with Borland Delphi 3.01. That Is the accent is
transferred on easy creation ActiveX, Intranet/Internet-applications,
ISAPI/NSAPI/CGI/WinCGI-modules, products with use of multitier technologies .
I hope, this brief description to you will be enough.
With best wishes,
              Akzhan
