It's up to your mail processor how your netmail is processed and stored.  I
use Squish here, and have eight seperate netmail areas setup for the eight
networks (FidoNet plus seven FTN-style 'othernets') I'm connected to. 
EzyMail is another mail processor that allows multiple netmail areas - I
bet there are a stack of others too.  This is all using Type 2 packet
headers, btw.
