Haven't bought a new PC or notebook in years.  You mean CPU have bugs nowadays?  :)

I tend to agree.   The virus first has to get onto my computer before it
can infect it.  I don't use the #1 and #2 virus transmission media (IE and
Lookout! Distress), so my infection likelihood is greatly reduced.
