Perhaps it was not his choice to leave?  Perhaps all the negativity
surrounding Vista is seen as him not doing the "evangelism job"
well-enough.  Perhaps Microsoft realizes that Vista is going to be so bad
that they need to put someone less concerned about truth and more concerned
about perception in the evangelism driver seat.
