Why do I still have the impression that you're only watching Russian TV? Or do
they block the BBC livestream in Russia, just to make sure people think like
you do?

The events of 2014 in Ukraine - the "orqnge revolution" - was not organized by
any "foreign power", but was an uprising by the population to get rid of a
corrupt, one-sided government. Such things happen, you know, like in Russia in
1905 and 1918. Sometimes they backfire, as you can see in the purges and
starvation in Russia of the 1930s. Does anyone in Russia nowadays remember the
"Kulaks" (so-called "rich" farmers who stood in the way of collectivism) who
starved by the millions?

And just remember that Yanukovych wasn't shot together with his family, like
what happened in Yekaterinburg with the Czar and his family in 1918.

Try watching http://www.bbc.com/news sometime, if it's not blocked by the
Russian government. The American channels are pretty provincial (particularly
the US version of CNN and Fox News), but the BBC gives you fairly unbiased
news. The _international_ version of CNN isn't bad either.

Cheers, Bob
