I know Yahoo Groups is a hassle, but at the time the Gallery was formed, =
it was one of the very few games in town. People have gone on to better =
areas, such as PhotoSig for their serious work, critiques, etc. The only =
reason I haven't shut the Gallery down yet, is that it's still a small =
place where a few folks can post something (or not) and talk about =
something that might be on their mind at the moment. So far this month, =
there have been only 47 posts (including picture uploads) vs. a high of =
717 postings back in October, 2001. When the whole thing finally croaks, =
I'll toss a couple of shovels of dirt on top - take a picture of the =
screen, and go have an ice cream cone.

To the best of my recollection I am not, but have viewed others' =
work
there. What's involved in getting access there? I have not found
Yahoo groups to be a problem.=20

I am not intent on putting Yahoo group down. I have stuff =
there. It was (and is, to me) a hassle to get pics there and maneuver =
them. Time consuming and there is the load limit which doesn't exist on =
PhotoSIG. And, again, to me, it's much faster.
No problem getting access...just log on and ask for it. Really, =
the main reason I like PhotoSIG better is that is made of worldwide =
photographers, and one can see many scenes that you wouldn't normally =
see even in National Geographic.

I'll keep an eye out for snowpersons, but last I knew we are =
under

area usable. In truth, I'm not so interested in snow pictures =
any more,
anything I shoot will likely be more in the PJ vein.
