subject: Need some ideas!

HI! I'm Edgar KB 8 QEU.
I live, for the time beeing, in MacArthur, West Virginia - at an elevation of
2460 feet. I'm moving to a place where I'll be surrounded by 200 to 210 foot
hills higher than the house.
There I can't hit the local repeater, 8 mile range, and am running <50watts!
There is a a gas line on the far end of the property that has power. I want
to setup a remote station there with 6 and 2 meter, & 220mcs and 440mcs
capability. The porblem is that the distance from the house to the gas
metering station is about half a mile. What would take to use a low powre
900mcs or 1200mcs link station? I do plan to tone burst and ctcss.
Need the source of antennas and equipment and/or plans to build them.
Please respond via edgar@gwe.nws.net because this Southern West Virginia
FIDOnet is going down or hopefully down for a short time.
Thanks in advance
Edgar
