We're seeing more WinUpdate problems this month in the East (?Akamai). 
I've gotten complaints of stuck auto or semi-auto user update, and a manual
update refusing to "complete," with popups underneath everything
and WinDefender def-updates, as usual, contributing to the mess.  Flailing
around, or waiting, seem to unstick things with equal efficacy, and
inscrutability.  We are theirs.

The secupdate page you linked to above displayed halfway for me for most of
yesterday, with NO list of downloads, or just a few.  Most strange.  Fine
now.

I wonder how much hanging both WGA-trojan and Defender/Live updates on the
groaning Akamai hook is costing Microsoft in traffic billing?  What am I
talking about?  They'll just buy Akamai, right?  As part of the
SinkGoogleInitiative?
