Ted didn't flirt with .400 he went out there on the last day & hit .400!!!!!
     It is too bad Tony didn't get his chance in '94, but that's old
news.....George Brett had the last FULL chance to do it back in 1980, and
finished .385, I believe.... he was the MAN!  Tony will hopefully get it with 
expansion, next year, or send him to the American leauge to be a DH, many,
many good OLD players careers have been extended because of this Original,
creative, WISE move by the American Leauge.... anyone have a real reason to
watch Pitchers hit????? I haven't heard an objective reason, that makes
seense, and it's been 25+ years...... still waiting! Words like better and
"because" don't matter anymore  he heh
