No, there are no hidden options that can be configured outside of fsetup.

You will have to wait for fsetup "2.0". My first priority is make a Win32
compatible FSetup, before making new functionality.

As said before fmail has it origins in the DOS era. So in places it shows it's
age. I'll have a look at it though, because this is a limitation we can do
without.
