I don't recall saying I didn't intend to fix it.  At worst, I may have said
I have no plans on fixing it, which may or may not mean it will be fixed. 
;-)

In the mean time, the source code is available for anyone to try...

Odd.  Why?  More people should be adding Squish support to these BBS programs!
