I was actually thinking of putting the display unit where the CPU clock speed 
display would go, thus you would not use up a drive bay you may need later.  
A two-character matrix and four tiny LEDs below/above it would have no 
trouble fitting in the window provided in most computer cases. A trouble-free 
mounting could be as easy as Velcro, since the CPU speed display mountings 
vary from case to case, depending on who made it.
