Only 804 days before YEAR 2000! Are you concern?
What will appen on our BBS computers on the jan 1st, 2000?
Really, I don't know, and I don't want to experiment, NOW!
Their is lot of peoples who are more knowledgeable in software
and hardware than me. So I will let him do the testing.
I'm only an end user, whitout any technical skill.
Now, some stuff for you folk.
To be a member of Fidonet or other similar network, we must
operate a system using the FTS-0001 STANDARD.
Follow some extract from that document:
Just take note of the WEIRD format of the date. Nobody seem to
have any YEAR 2000 in mind when they design the following:

Here is the date format.
Some of my messages bases was settle to purge after 60 days. What append
for the last 60 days messages. The system will purge it or not?
Messages will be export will Fido standard or Maximus Standard?
01 Jan 00 or 01 Jan 100.
And so on.
