Forget the $12.95. That's only one of the incidental costs.

That TOTAL price is excessive only if the stuff he received was
NOT worth $67.90.

If you really want to worry about all the various items in the
total, just remember that a mass manufactured CD costs about
$0.50, so almost all of that $54.95 was markup and taxes down the
line.
