Not really since all this aliasing is merely pointing to the nodelisted DNS name.

Now show me where Scott or David has declared their alias as the defacto
default one to use to connect and you have bent my ear, but that aside, we
still have the nodelist and the offended parties in this mess, still have
their desired DNS names in place.

No use in bringing in that copyright argument, I would say there be wide
gaps between how the countries among the 6 zones deal with them.
