Dear Carol,
  How kind of you to think of me and send a 'daybrightner'.  I have not had
a chance to look it over thourily, because of the rush of events, but i do
want to thank you for your thoughtfulness.
   What crafts are keeping you sane right now?   I still haven't finished my
elves, so they wouldn't be ready to brighten the garden for the tours this
year.   Maybe i can finish them and have them all ready to go out first
thing next year.  Something like that will have to be done, as when weeding
season starts, there is no time for anything until after the tours stop.
