As much as I think Vlist is a jerk, why should he not have been able to
claim copyright in his article?  He wrote it, did he not?

There's a bit more to it than that but where was the furore?  I saw nothing
until I got Ward's netmail.

I'm a bit surprised about Shannon being there and the name Frank Scheidt
means nothing to me.  But are they worse than Bob "the germ"
Germer, Bob Hirschfeld or Marcel Bendshadler were and each of those were
moderators.

But why does one have to argue.  Can't one simply discuss?
