Oh, we just call them "Bird Swaps". They're more like country faires or
expos. They are not a show per se. It is a big gathering where
people rent tables and hawk their wares. Usually selling birds
either babies or breeders, cages, supplies and all sorts of stuff.
Often at somewhere between wholesale and retail prices. Just about
anything that you could want for a bird. And sometimes they are
held outside under trees, or in an auditorium or whatever. You can
go and ramble around and talk to people and see what is for sale.
Lots of folks make friends at these and some go just to socialize
rather that buy or sell.
