Ok....  Then you have access to CVS.....

The tarball is a CVS archive, not extractions, so, it doesn't do what you want.

Grab the source via cvs to your linux box and then transfer to a machine to
compile it for your dos box....  And provide feed back to us so we can
check in your changes that are needed to compile for your environment.....
