Why can't they just assign it to Paul Heyman since he still isn't medically cleared and isn't an active part of the writing team anymore? He's got a great wrestling head on his shoulders, and kept the convulated ECW angles straight. All they'd have to do would be fax him copies of the preliminary scripts the morning of the shows, have him fax them back problems (along with suggested fixes), and then have a phone line so that they can immediately contact him for last minute changes. Or, have him at RAW and PPVs to make corrections in person, and available by phone and/or fax on Tuesday for the Smackdown taping and Wednesday to "approve" the in-studio announce scripts for the taped shows. I chose in-person RAW because most of the glaring errors are on RAW, with Smackdown being more tightly written. It's not complete rewrites I'm talking about here - just changing or adding a half-dozen words of a promo here or there or scratching out a line to be fed to an announcer would take care of 90% of the problems.
