My sister-in-law uses her PC for two things:  web browsing and Kodak's Easy
Share photo software.  She uses Yahoo for email (web-based) due to all the
trojan and spyware problems she had when she was using Outlook Express and
her ISP's POP3 service (her ISP actually shut down her email at one point).

I'm actually thinking of switching her away from Windows the next time I
upgrade her PC.   Interesting aspect is that, as you touch upon, she
won't notice the difference.
