Hi yet again, James! This is the last installment of the current series:

JB> I just had an 18hr sleep after being driven to Edmonton
JB> and back. Maybe a Toyota and my hindside are not meant
JB> for each other.

Uh-huh. One of the features which is quite high on our priority
list is how well the seats suit *us*, because Dallas & I both have back
problems. I survived a trip to Kamloops in July, in our own car, but
that's about my limit. Dallas understands my need to get out & move
around from time to time too... it may not be so easy to convey the idea to
other people. Or you may find... as I did when Nora had leukemia, and I
carried her around a lot... that the affected parts hurt more when you
finally get a chance to take the weight off them. :-/

JB> At least I was able to pencil in my Uncles, as a
JB> first job for my jackhammer. He was astonished
JB> about some of my Italian porcelain finds. Maybe
JB> I have found a deserving home for it yet.

I can relate. If you're not using something yourself, or if you
need to make space, you like to know the new owner appreciates it as you
do.... :-)

JB> Well, better get a move on the day. [-|

JB> PS: And then I proof read the next day.

          Same here... [chuckle].

JB> The new lawnmower just caused a four-hour nap.

Okay. I work in the garden until my back starts to hurt. For
awhile I could only manage fifteen minutes, but now I can do it for an hour
or so.

Oh, and... Mommy brag!! We attended a family dance a couple of
weeks ago. Nora managed four numbers with various partners & without
her cane, after which she slept for fourteen hours. She might have slept
longer, except that I had promised I would wake her in time for dinner.
It's not a big deal compared to what other folks do. But these things take
time. In July of 2002, Dallas & I were delighted that she was able to
stand (with help) for a few seconds. You mentioned something about a crop
of thistles. I know. Hang in there.... :-))
