Title: Hershey's 50% Reduced Fat Chocolatey Chip Coo

Yield: 5 dozen
2 1/4 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c 60% oil spread
3/4 c Granulated sugar
3/4 c Light brown sugar; packed
1 ts Vanilla extract
2 Eggs
2 c Reduced fat semi-sweet
Baking chips
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Stir together the flour, baking soda and
salt. In large bowl, beat spread; sugars and vanilla with electric
mixer until creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture,
beating well. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto
ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Makes

1 tb Vegetable oil
1 c Chopped onions
1 c Sliced celery
8 oz Tomato sauce
1/2 c Water
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Hot pepper sauce
- (or more, to taste)
3 c Cooked or canned pinto beans
- (OR any type of bean)
-- drained
3 c Hot cooked brown rice
In large skillet, cook onions and celery in oil until tender. Stir in
tomato sauce, water, seasonings, and beans. Heat thoroughly. Serve
over hot rice.
Each serving provides: * 270 calories * 10.6 g. protein * 3.3 g. fat
* 50.5 g. carbohydrate * 270 mg. sodium * 0 mg. cholesterol
