subject: Convert CPM/86 to DOS diskettes?

Replying to a message of Mike Luther to Ben Ritchey:

 ML> Hello Ben ..

BR>> Boot up CP/M under DOS and copy to C: I think I
 BR>> have a 2.2 emulator around
 BR>> here somewhere ...

ML> Now this might be just the way I need to solve this thing. I have two
ML> Z100's and tons of ZDS stuff including the hard disks which are for
ML> these two classics. But at this point neither of them is 'working'.
ML> I also have a Heath H89 pure floppy creation, but it also isn't
ML> working. One of the projects is supposed to be to get the Z120 fixed
ML> and per the other gent's suggestion, use the Heath program to do what
ML> I originally did so long ago to move from CPM to first Heath, then ..
ML> to the MDOS for the whole show.

If you want to get rid of any or all of them please let me know. I have 3
H-89s, one of which got a brain transplant 20 years ago and has the MicroMint
SB-180 processor in place of the original CPU board - it has a half-height 5.25"
floppy and a half-height Seagate 20MB SCSI HD mounted in the floppy bay.

ML> However, the need for access to a few files on these few disks is
ML> ahead of the fixit project.

One of my 89's is dead, I think the ROM chip has gone bad.
