Grin, you will have to stand back then and re-assess.  Michiel has done
that.  ¨Rare, but has happened.

Hey, we all screw up sometimes.  I dont beat up folks over being human. 
When I ¨said that I irk Michiel, I was being both honest and only partially
explaining. ¨He irks me too, but I like him most of the time anyways.

When I first 'met' him, he was a wet behind the ears new node and I was an
RC ¨and he was showing me errflags resolution of my region.  I both
appreciated the ¨help and was irked that he was 'checking on me'.  It
spawned off however my ¨learning much more about nodelist things (I was
mostly a mail mover back then ¨in skills).  He was an effective gadfly at a
time when that was a good thing ¨for me.

The most visible evidence of this is that the FTSC put in the 'modem
reduction' ¨flag set.  *I* fought for that, not him.  He just watched it
happen as i took ¨something good from Z2 and pushed for it.

I also have a very set standard 000- set which Z1 I gather now uses. 
Michiel ¨is the root of it's development though he was not alone and he
probably doesnt ¨like the end ramifications.  Specifically, he is not happy
at how it plays out ¨with Li's listing.

Thats BTW, a tech article I should send in for the snooze, but pretty sure
i ¨never did.

It's simple.  If lacking a POTS connection or a static IP, use 000-0-0-0-0
in ¨the phone field.  No variation.  No 000-000-000-000 etc.  This makes it
easier ¨to 'trap out' for programmers or script files.  See Z6 segment for
how it's ¨used.  New Makenl sites can translate any 000-0-0-0-0 site to
'UnPublished' ¨without harm but should expect them to show on HOST sites
and RC's.
