BE+The cable company provides the modems (really routers) that will be used
wit
+their cable. From the FAQ I saw about Time Warner's Road
+Runner Service, their software requires Win 3.1, Windows
+95, Windows 98, Win NT, or Macs. There is not a thing for
+OS/2. They are going after the majority of the market.
+You MIGHT be able to run the Win 3.1x version, depending on
+Win32S. I think USR has waited to long to make cable
+modems. Time Warner has a large percentage of the systems.
+Time Warner is using Mortrolla Cable Modems. The NIC card
+REQUIRED is probally by 3COM.
From what I have heard why would they want to? I think the lions share
of the cable companies supply them. I would think the public market
would be very small.
