Given that the Fidonews originates from Sweden, one could have fun drciding
which copyright applies,  But there is no doubt that copyright does apply
to articles published in it as the publication itself states, "There
is no copyright attached to Fidonews, though authors retain rights to their
contributed articles."  Had we all remembered that, Vlist's statement
would not have merited any comment.

Thr more I see of Fidomet structures, the less impressed I am with them. 
The selection of the editor of the Fidonews is a case in point. Fortunately
these structures matter less and less.

Bob Germer was editor of the Perfect echo for a decade and was known to
some as the Germ.  Hirshfeld had no AKA that I know of.
