The likely issues have been covered, but bear in mind that one symptom of being under attack is that you are kicked off the network. Particularly if you were using WEP encryption, the standard attack mechanism involves running a program (on the attacker's wireless box) that sends packets that cause your wireless connection to drop. They then sniff the re-association to extract WEP-attacking info.
