LN> I'm new here, but I've seen some of you are into Tangerine Dream!
LN> That's my rhythm!
Great!, getting fed up with hearing about Genesis :)
LN> Could anyone tell me what new stuff TD has done, now that Johannes
LN> Schmoelling has departed and Paul Haslinger is in?
Best thing would be to point at the many TD Web sites on the `net.
LN> I'm mostly interested in the long playing CD's similar to Tangram,
LN> Encore, Poland, Logos Live in London, and Green Desert.
Unfortunately, they`ve gone a bit downhill lately, I`m not keen on any
of their new material, I keep going back to the early stuff you`ve
mentioned above. I hope they can return to form. In the meantime
try White Eagle, probably their best album.
LN> Is Christoph Franke still with TD? What new projects are they working
LN> on? Where do I go for info on my favourite music crew?
As you know, the lineup of TD changes quite regular, I *THINK* Chris Frankes
son is with them now. Look for some great solo work from Edgar Froese too.
If you`ve access to the internet, search for TANGERINE DREAM, lots of info
pictures, sounds and interviews.
LN> Hey man, when is Tangerine Dream comming to Toronto again???????
Don`t know, they don`t exactly over-expose themselves in the UK much
to peoples disgust, usually only one date and largely un-noticed by the
music press.
LN> Any new long-playing CD recommendations? Man, I gotta get news!
White Eagle, Ricochet, Underwater Sunlight, Cyclone (Awesome!)
See You
