(Un)fortunatly, Fidonet is free. That's why it uses such primitive technology
and why it's so limited. Professional networks (such as the internet) have
expensive stuff, real expensive stuff. True, much more fun, but it ain't free.

If you ask me, Fido will eventually crumble under it's own weight, unless
something is done. The nodelist will eventually need to reside on it's own 100
meg HDD. The fido addressing scheme will just have to change.

As to my calendar, yeah, 1995. But the bank account says $0 so I stay with
fido, it's bodgy, but cheap.
