I agree.  It's decent but not great.  Some songs ramble, some are spot on.

I too found "Dark Desert Moon" to be one of the best songs, along with "Three 
Rivers of Lor" and "Sand."  Notice that Thomas also plays percussion on these 
three.  The percussion (inc. Moerlen's) adds a good deal of depth to the 
songs.
On the contrary, I found "Summa" to be one of the rambling songs.
