There seem to be two connects to nets 71X from net 640: via John Dawson and
via Bob James... Bob James has forwarded some more echoes on and I'm again
seeing posts from Malcolm Miles in the echoes.

I wish that whatever is going on was better documented and understood...
it's difficult tracking down the problem from net 800...
