Quite a few questions have come up regarding the whereabouts of
Winfred Hu, the author of Telemate.
For those of you that didn't know, Winfred has long been a resident
of the Eastern part of Canada.  Well, all of that has changed since
the last release of both Telemate versions; he is now a resident of
sunny .... Southern California!!
There are still some loose ends left to tie up in Canada regarding
his equipment and whatnot, but it is my understanding that the bulk
of it has now been accomplished .... hence, the move is still ongoing,
and I cannot say when it will be 100% completed simply because I do
not know for sure.
I talked via voice with Winfred early last week, and he gave me his
temporary data which he said was valid through December '96 at which
time he will provide me with his permanent data.
From this, I think its safe to say that Winfred is alive and well
and we should again hear from him during the 1st Quarter of '97
once he has gotten fully settled into his new job and new location.
I'll keep you posted from time to time regarding ...
